Description
Thatched Cottage, now known as the Manor Social Club, is a cottage that dates from the 16th or 17th century. It is primarily timber framed with colour washed brick infill and part colourwashed brick. The cottage features a half hipped thatched roof and has two brick chimneys. The west front includes a brick section on the left-hand side with a small projecting section beneath the continuation of the thatch. There is a door and a small window on the left, along with an upper window on the projection. The right-hand part is timber framed, featuring two upper casements and three windows on the ground floor. The east side has two doors and two three-light casements, as well as two upper casements. The building was formerly known as the Cottage north of Walton Manor.
