Walnut Tree Farmhouse is a house that dates from the late 16th century, with additions from the 18th century and modern alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and features colourwashed herringbone brick infilling, while the ground floor and west gable are made of colourwashed brick. The house has a tiled roof and a large brick chimney located to the west of the center.
The north front of the building consists of four bays, with three-light casement windows. There is a door with a flat hood in the second bay from the left and a shallow bay window in the right-hand bay of the ground floor. The west gable displays a scalloped bargeboard, a two-light attic casement, a three-light casement on the first floor, a sash window, and an arched doorway on the ground floor. There is also a later wing on the right-hand side.
