The building has a low slate roof with brick dentil eaves. On the south front, there is one window, which is a three-light camber-arched wooden casement, along with plain doors. The north front of The Forge has three windows, which are similar casements to those on the south front. The Forge is included for its group value in relation to the nearby church.
