Description

SIMPSON ROAD 1. 5135 SIMPSON The Forge. No 436. SP 8836 1/70 II GV 2. Early C19 pair. 2 storeys painted brick. The Forge has longer north front. Low slate roof with brick dentil eaves. One window each to south front: 3 light camber arched wood casements. Plain doors. The north front of the Forge is of 3 windows, similar casements to those on front. Included for group value in relation to the church. Nos 187, 189, The Church of St Thomas, The Forge and No 436 form a group.
