Chilston House is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Burwash High Street. It is two storeys high and features four windows. The exterior is made of painted brick and has a modillion eaves cornice, topped with a tiled roof. The windows have been replaced with modern casement designs. At the front, there is a shallow porch supported by Doric columns, and a round-headed doorway at the west end, which is flanked by pilasters and has an open tympanum that contains an iron grille.
