Description
Chaunt House is a building that features a back wing constructed in medieval timber framing and a front wing dating from the mid-19th century. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The exterior is finished in painted brick and topped with a slate roof. The windows are casement style. A central projection on the ground floor creates a shallow porch, supported by Doric columns, and includes a round-headed doorway with a semicircular fanlight. Above this projection is a gable adorned with fretted bargeboards. To the east of the projection, there is a modern shop window on the ground floor.
