Description

No. 2 Cartway is an early 19th-century building constructed of painted brick. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and features two casement windows that have cambered heads. The building has a plain doorway with a plank door, as well as a large window that includes glazing bars and a cornice hood supported by consoles. There is also a plain doorway on the right side. The eaves are dentilled, and the roof is covered with old tiles. This building is included for its group value alongside the nearby Methodist Church and other consecutive properties from Nos. 2 to 14, 16 to 26, and 29 to 32.
