Description

Manor Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and has a pantile roof with two brick gable stacks. The two-storey, three-bay front features an off-centre half-glazed door sheltered by a 20th-century lean-to block and glazed porch/conservatory. Flanking the door are single two-light plain sliding sash windows with timber lintels. Above, the first floor has two plain sliding sash windows set under the eaves. A single-storey 20th-century extension is located to the right. The interior includes slightly chamfered spine beams with run-out stops and an inglenook fireplace with a bressumer.
