Description

The cart shed and stables at No. 47, located on the south side of Newton Way in Colsterworth, date from the late 17th century and have 19th-century alterations. The structure is built from coursed limestone rubble and features quoins, topped with a pantile roof. On the yard side, there are three stable doors and a wider opening, while the gable end has an additional planked door. All openings are fitted with timber lintels. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
