Description

'The Manor Cottage' is a cottage dating from around the 18th century, constructed of painted brick. It features a steeply pitched thatched roof with gabled ends and is one storey high with an attic. On the ground floor, there are two pairs of casement windows with leaded panes set beneath segmental brick arches, along with wooden shutters. The central entrance is a plank door located under a flat hood that is supported by carved corbels, and there is a glazed fanlight above the canopy. The cottage also has three eyebrow dormers, which contain old metal casements with leaded panes. Additionally, there are two mid-19th century panelled brick chimney stacks on the ridge.
