It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends, which has been raised by 18 inches. The gabled end of the cottage is positioned at a right angle to the road. The building is two storeys high and includes various 19th century and modern two-light casement windows. There is a modern plank door and a part-glazed door. At the east gable, there is a later outshut with a tiled roof that has four casements with leaded panes. The cottage is also adorned with two brick ridge chimney stacks.
