Description

No 1 Lewis Road is an early 19th century red brick house featuring a low pitched slate roof with hipped ends and wide projecting eaves. The building is square in shape and has two storeys with a symmetrical facade. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within a pilastered wooden doorcase, topped by a modern pedimented canopy. On either side of the door are sash windows with glazing bars, which have rendered lintels and cills. The first floor has three sash windows with glazing bars, rusticated lintels, and rendered cills. The house is also adorned with three brick chimney stacks.
