Description
'The White Lion Public House' is a timber-framed building dating from the 17th century, which underwent alterations in the 19th century and was extended at the rear in the 20th century. It features a steeply pitched thatched roof with gabled ends and is faced in painted render with applied timber framing. The building is two storeys high and has a long five-window range. On the first floor, there are five pairs of 19th-century casements with cross glazing bars. The ground floor has a lean-to tiled canopy hood, beneath which are three splayed bay windows and two pairs of casements, all featuring glazing bars, along with a four-panel door. The structure is topped with three brick ridge chimney stacks.
