Description

This is a mid-19th century block of three estate cottages, similar in style to numbers 1 to 7 on Mill Road. The cottages are built of pale brick in a Jacobean style. They have steep, slate roofs and two massive, stepped chimneys with heavy capping. The brickwork features toothed eaves. The end bays project forward with gabled fronts. Two paired, gabled half dormers are located centrally, with a gabled brick porch below, also featuring toothed eaves. Most windows are diamond-pane casements, although those on number 29 have been replaced. A lean-to porch is attached to numbers 29 and 33. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
