Description

No 173 is a former house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone significant modifications. The building features a brick tile hung exterior and a Kent tile roof, and it stands two storeys tall. The front of the building has a two-window range, a modillion cornice, and two first-floor flush framed 12-pane horned sash windows, which were also updated in 1988. The rear is stuccoed and includes one sash window with glazing bars. This building is included for its group value context.
