Description

This is a former house, now two shops, dating to circa 1800. The building is located on Rochester High Street. It is constructed of Flemish bond gault brick with a concrete tile roof. The building is three storeys high and has a regular three-window facade. It features a parapet with stone coping and a cornice band. The windows are sash windows set in reveals with flat arches. The second floor has two replacement four-pane, horned sash windows alongside one twelve-pane, hornless sash window on the first floor. Late 20th-century shop fronts replace earlier elements. A circa 1800 house door is located on the right-hand side of the building, comprising six raised and fielded panels under a rectangular overlight.
