Description

ROCHESTER NEW ROAD TQ 7467 NE 12/184 Nos 29, 30, and 31 23-8-74 GV II Terrace of 3 houses. c.1840. Flemish bond gault brick, plaster dressings, slate roof. Each house has 3 storeys, 2 bays. Each has one arched ground floor sash with round arched upper sash, 2 first and 2 second floor 12-pane sashes, all with glazing bars. Keystone plaster arches to all windows. Projecting Tuscan Doric column porches with column and antae pilasters, cornices and flat roofs. 3 panel doors, 2 upper panels glazed, to Nos 30 and 31, No 29 has c.l980 hardwood door. Cement stringcourse base and coping to parapet. 2 stacks on each party wall.
