Description
Yarborough Villa is a late Regency style villa built around 1840. It is two storeys high and constructed from rough dressed ashlar. The villa features a low hipped slate roof with flat eaves and has four windows, with the central two in a shallow segmental fronted break. There is a sill band at the first floor level. The windows are mostly glazing bar sashes, except for the central pair of ground floor windows, which are marginal glazed French casements. The villa also has a glazed tent roof trellis verandah. The porch is set back on the left side and includes grooving struck into a round arch, a radial glazed fanlight, flanking pilasters, a keystone with a mask ornament, and an entablature above. Yarborough Villa, along with the gate and gate piers to Yarborough Villa, Primrose Bank, and St Ann's Grove Hill Cottages, forms a group.
