Description
St Ann's is a three-storey villa built around 1840-1850. It features coursed small block ashlar with quoins and has a low hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. The front has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows: the second floor has casements, the first floor includes two canted bays and a central glazing bar sash window with louvred shutters and a tent roof, while the ground floor has two marginal glazed French casements. The entrance is marked by a central glazed and panelled door, and there is a trellis verandah that bows out in front of it. St Ann's is part of a group that includes Yarborough Villa, the gate and gate piers to Yarborough Villa, Primrose Bank, and St Ann's and Grove Hill Cottages.
