Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to Georgeana Coape, located approximately 1.5 metres north of the vestry at John the Baptist Church in Niton. It dates from around 1849 and is made of stone in the early 19th-century style. The tomb features a moulded stone base and top, with end balusters and incised oval inscription panels. The original railed enclosure is now missing.
