Description

ORCHESTON ORCHESTON ST. GEORGE SU 04 SE (east side) 3/174 Unidentified monument in the churchyard, about 1 metre south of nave of Church of St. George GV II Chest tomb. Late C18. Limestone. Plinth, one oval fielded panel with egg and dart border, to south side, north side has two square fielded panels with carved drapery in centre, plain end panels, reeded corner pilasters, flat top has hollow-chamfered cornice. Inscription illegible, ivy-covered tomb.
