Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St George, approximately 2 metres south-east of the porch. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features partially legible inscription panels on three sides, a moulded plinth, and fielded inscription panels at each end. The south side has a circular inscription panel adorned with foliate decoration at each corner. Additionally, there is a raised inscription panel with quadrant corners that contain bosses, topped with a capping that has a moulded margin.
