Description
No. 14 Vicarage Lane is a detached house dating from the early to mid-17th century. It features square-panelled timber framing with rendered and painted brick infill set on a stone plinth. The left gable end is pebble-dashed stone, while the right gable end is painted stone. The house has a red tile roof with brick stacks. The main body of the building is rectangular and may have been extended by one bay to the right. There is a rendered 20th-century extension at the rear, which is not of special interest. The main body is 1½ storeys tall with irregular fenestration that includes 2-light 20th-century metal casements with rectangular leaded panels, as well as a single 2-light stairlight. There are also one 2-light and one 3-light raking dormer. A projecting gable-end stack is located at the left gable end, accompanied by a projecting bread oven with a lean-to roof on one side. The interior has not been inspected.
