Description
19 and 20 Quay Street is a mid-18th century building constructed of chequered brick, featuring a band and a high plinth. The eaves cornice is adorned with ball ornaments. The building has six recessed sash windows with glazing bars and block sills. It has a slate roof with one dormer. There are two impressive doorcases, both with panelled reveals. Number 19 showcases fluted pilasters and a shallow moulded cornice, along with a six-panel door topped by a rectangular fanlight that contains an elliptical traceried light. Number 20 features narrow fluted pilasters, moulded brackets, an open moulded pediment, and a traceried rectangular fanlight. Numbers 17 to 21 form a group.
