Description
Bury House is a building from the first half of the 18th century, featuring chequered red and grey brickwork and a tiled roof with a modillioned wooden cornice. It has two storeys and attics, with a first-floor band and two leaded two-light box casement dormers. The façade includes seven sash windows with glazing bars set in broad flush frames, and the ground floor has two triple-light 19th-century sash windows. All windows have flat arches above them. The entrance boasts a six-fielded panelled door with a traceried fanlight, which is situated beneath a semi-circular hood supported by console brackets. Bury House is part of a group of buildings that includes Nos 1, 1B, 3, 5, 7, 17, 19, 23 to 31 (odd), 31A, 33, 33A, 35, and 43 to 57 (odd).
