Description

This is a late 18th-century building, originally two houses, of three storeys. It is constructed of painted brick, with the eastern block slightly taller than the western. The roof is slate, with a wooden eaves cornice. The building has five windows, with one blinded in the centre. Recessed wood casements are present on the second floor; the first-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars, while modern metal casements are on the east. A modern shop front is visible. Nos. 143 to 147 High Street form a group.
