Description

Wroxall Farm Barn is a large barn built in the 17th century or early 18th century, constructed from coursed stone rubble with small stones interspersed. The original thatched roof has been replaced with slate on the gable end. The east side features small slits and partially blocked triangular ventilators. At the south end, there is a chamfered doorway with a slightly pointed arch. Inside, the barn has eight bays supported by queen post trusses and massive tie beams.
