Description

This is a row of three terraced houses built in the late 18th century on Camelford Street, Brighton. The houses are stucco-faced, with the exception of number 34, which combines flint with stucco dressings. They are two storeys high with a basement and contain dormer windows. Each house has two windows, and recessed, paired entrances. The entrance to number 35 features a round arch with an architrave, wreathed impost blocks, and a keystone, topped with a plain fanlight. The entrances to numbers 33 and 34 have flat arches with shallow canopies supported by brackets. Full-height canted bays are present at numbers 33 and 35, with a segmental bay faced in stucco at number 34. All windows are flat-arched. A first-floor window above the entrance at number 34 is blocked. Numbers 33 and 34 feature a dentil cornice, and the dormers are flat-arched. Number 33 has an extra dormer in the upper plane of the roof. Stacks are located on the alternate party walls. The interior was not inspected at the time of listing.
