Terraced houses. c1815. Stucco, roofs of tiles to Nos 5-11, slate to No.13. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys over basement, one-window range. The houses are arranged as a symmetrical group with a pediment over No.9 and parts of Nos 7 and 5, and a first-floor verandah to Nos 5-11. Steps up to flat-arched entrance with reeded doorcase (except to No.13 which has plain pilasters), panelled reveals, overlight and panelled door of original design (except for door to No.7); segmental bays to first and second floors with central mullion, that to the first floor offset and those to Nos 3 and 13 domed; those to Nos 5-11 are carried up into the awning of the verandah which has slim wooden columns, scalloped valence and cast-iron railings with anthemion ornament, probably much renewed; Nos 5 and 13 have a balcony only; boxed eaves; hipped roof; stacks to ridge and hip. INTERIOR: not inspected. Cast-iron area railings with spearhead finials. No 7, though excluded from listing in 1971 appears to have been rebuilt broadly in keeping and is now included on the list.
