Description

Two terraced houses, which were later part of a shop, date from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of blue brick in header bond with red brick dressings, and the roof is not visible. The buildings are three storeys high, each with two windows and a double-fronted design. The entrance to number 16 has been altered and features a flat arch, while the entrance to number 17 has been changed to a window. All windows have red brick dressings, with cambered arches on the ground-floor windows and flat arches on the first and second floors. Number 16 retains sashes of original design, except for the left-hand second-floor window, while number 17 has original sashes on the first floor and the right-hand second-floor window. A brick dentil cornice is present. The interior has not been inspected.
