Description

The buildings at 6, 7, and 8 Church Street are a group of early 19th-century terraced houses with shops, although they may incorporate earlier fabric. They are constructed of brick, now painted, with a tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with dormers in the attic. Each property has a single window front.

Number 7 retains some remnants of an early 19th-century shop front, featuring pilasters on either side of the entrance and a cornice. Number 6 also has a cornice. The first-floor windows at numbers 6 and 7 are cambered-arched and tripartite with original sash windows. Number 8 has flat-arched windows. Cornice and a blocking course are visible on numbers 6 and 7, while number 8 has eaves. Dormers are incorporated into a mansard roof, and there are stacks built into the party walls. The interior has not been inspected.
