Description
Number 17 is a terraced house built around 1815, located on Upper Rock Gardens in Brighton. The building is constructed of stucco and features a tiled roof. It has four storeys above a half basement and consists of a one-window range. To the left of the flat-arched entry, there is a full-height segmental bay with flat-arched, tripartite windows. The second and third floors of the bay have sashes that are of original design, and the second-floor windows are adorned with floating entablatures. There is a verandah on the first floor, and stacks are positioned on the party wall. The interior has not been inspected. The property has railings surrounding the low area wall. Number 17, along with Numbers 15, 18, and 20-26, forms a group of buildings of architectural interest.
