Description

The Wise Family Tomb is located in St Mary's Churchyard in Walthamstow, E17, close to the south wall of the tower. This table tomb commemorates Mr. Thomas Wise, who died in 1710. It is made of Portland stone and features a grey stone lid. The tomb has balusters at the corners and gadrooning along the base, with cartouches and carved foliage decorating the long sides.
