Description

The Fowke Tomb is a chest tomb located just 1 foot east of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary in Walton on Thames. It is dedicated to W. Fowke, who died in 1778. The tomb is made of stone and sits on a stone plinth. It has a rectangular shape with a hipped lid, featuring panelled sides and a crowning urn adorned with skull and drapery decoration.
