Description
Elm Grove is a house that has been converted into courts, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with end stacks at the rear. The building stands three storeys tall and has a rendered plat band above the ground floor. It is designed with five bays, with the central three bays set in a pedimented break. The second floor has sash windows beneath gauged brick heads, while the first floor features glazing bar sash windows. The entrance includes a central half-glazed door set in a moulded surround, topped by a traceried fanlight. A flat porch supported by wooden compound columns, arranged in five groups of four pillars, covers the entrance. There are also single-storey, three-bay additions on either side of the main structure.
