Description

The Riggs Family Tomb, located in St Mary's Churchyard in Walthamstow, is a table tomb dating from 1754. It is made of Portland Stone and features a grey stone lid. The corners of the tomb are adorned with winged cherub heads, and there are floral swags between them. The base of the tomb is decorated with gadrooning, and there is an inscribed plaque on one side. The tomb is situated close to the first bay from the east of the south wall of the chancel.
