Description
Pembroke Villas is a mid-19th century group of ten houses, arranged as five pairs, on Richmond Green. The houses are constructed of yellow brick with stucco dressings and slated roofs. The first, second, fourth, and fifth pairs each have two windows, with the central, adjoining window bays beneath a gabled roof brought forward as a pediment. The outer window bays are slightly recessed and feature pilastered entrance porches, incorporating balustraded balconies. The window surrounds are moulded stucco, with the central windows tripartite and all window heads square. The central pairs of houses are three storeys high, each with three windows, beneath a continuous modillion cornice. The ground floor is rusticated stucco, and the entrance porches are round arched with attached Corinthian half-columns.
