Description

The drinking fountain at the south corner of Richmond Green is a late 19th-century structure made of Portland stone. It features a simple Gothic design with an open upper section and a pyramidal roof topped with a small finial. A plaque on the fountain, which was repaired in 1977, is inscribed: "Restored June 1977 by private subscription in celebration of the Silver Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II."
