Description

Sundial located in Valentines Park, Ilford, dates from the early 18th century and is made of Portland stone. It features a circular baluster shape with acanthus decoration on the stem and neck, and has egg and dart moulding beneath the circular top. The sundial is situated within the formal garden to the south of the canal. Valentines Park is recognized in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at grade II.
