Description
The sundial at Canons Ashby House dates from the early 18th century and is made of dressed limestone. It features a bronze gnomon mounted on a short round pillar, which has a moulded stone base and top. The sundial is positioned on the south axis of the formal garden. Canons Ashby gardens and park are included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
