EMERSON ROAD Ilford Railings, gates and gatepiers to Valentines Park

2. The gatepiers are of Portland stone and of enriched bombé shape with vase surmounts. The railings are late C18. Resited; in 1772 they faced the garden front of the house. (Plate in Muilman's History of Essex).
