Description

The ha-ha at Valentines Park in Ilford is an early 18th century feature. It consists of a sunken wall that is 150 meters long, constructed of red-pink brick and includes semi-circular bastion-like projections. The structure is situated to the east of Valentines Mansion and runs northeast from Emerson Road. Valentines Park is recognized in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens at grade II.
