Description

No 8 Johnston Road is probably from the late 18th century and was altered around 1840. The building is two stories tall and features painted weatherboarded timber framing with a pantile roof. The ground floor has a projecting shop front with seven bays, which are divided by plain pilasters. It includes sash windows with panelled aprons and double glazed doors in the center bay, topped with a flat canopy. The structure was rebuilt in replica, except for the original shopfront.
