Description

The structure consists of a wall, railings, gates, and steps located to the right and in front of The Old Schools, built in 1919 by Sir Herbert Baker. It features brick walls with stone balustrading that create a classical approach to The Old Schools from the south. There are two piers topped with lanterns, and heavy brick piers and railings that form the boundary between The Old Schools and Druries to the south. The main gates are flanked by piers that are surmounted by stone garlanded vases.
