Description
The Headmaster's House, built between 1840 and 1845 by Decimus Burton, is a large Neo-Tudor building located on the east side of High Street in Harrow-on-the-Hill. It is constructed of red brick and features three storeys. The main block has seven timber casement windows and a central stucco projecting porch that includes a four-centred door with a lion crest above it. The building has a parapet with a central gable and Dutch gables above the second and sixth windows from the left. There is projecting brick banding beneath the first-storey windows and the parapet. To the left, there is a recessed wing with one window and another wing beyond it. All windows in the wings have drip moulds and are designed with mullion and transom casements. The roof is covered with slate.
