Description

1 High Street is a Gothic revival building constructed in 1866 by C F Hayward. It stands three and a half storeys tall and is made of red brick with blue drapering. The roof is a tiled mansard style. The building features two bays, with the entrance located in a chamfered angle on the left side. To the right, there is a circular turret that has imitation timber framing on the second storey, topped with a conical roof that has a finial. The lower two storeys have paired sashed windows with pointed arches and relieving arches on the ground storey, while the second storey has single-window bays.
