Description

Druries is a large, asymmetrical building located on the west side of High Street in Harrow-on-the-Hill. It was designed in 1865 by C.F. Hayward and is an example of Gothic revival architecture. The building is constructed of red brick with blue decorative elements and stone dressings, and it stands four storeys tall. A notable feature is the central semi-circular link between the left and right wings, which has a five-light window and a crested pyramidal tiled roof. The building is prominently sited, making it a significant part of the local landscape.
