Description
The Old Schools at Harrow School is a Grade I listed building located on Church Hill in Harrow-on-the-Hill. The west wing was originally built in 1615 and includes a panelled schoolroom from around the same time, designed by architect Mr. Sly. The east wing was added in 1820 by C.R. Cockerell, and the entire structure, except for the left flank wall, appears to have been refaced in red brick during this period. The building features two main storeys, a basement, and a staircase that links the wings. It has mullion and transom windows, as well as an oriel window on the first storey. The design includes stepped gables topped with a tiled roof.
