Description

The White Cottage is a house dating from 1908, designed by Baillie Scott. It is constructed of roughcast and has a tile roof. The house is asymmetrical in design. A central gable is recessed and contains an entrance door and a four-light window above. To the left is a projecting gable with a central four-light window on the ground floor and a three-light window on the first floor. On the right is a narrow gable wing of one window width, featuring a panelled oriel window on the first floor. Each gable end is weatherboarded.
