Description

The Orchard is a house dating to 1900, designed by Arnold Mitchell, who resided at the property. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings, featuring sandstone banding to the first storey, and has a stone roof. The main entrance block is accompanied by a lower wing to the left, with a six-light window in the hipped end. A semi-circular head frames the main door, and a stone bay window is situated to the left. To the right of the door is a framed, incised Latin inscription.
