Description

Toll Gate Cottage is a 17th-century cottage, likely converted in 1864 from part of a stable and coach-house that previously existed on the site, and then known as Park Cottage. The cottage is timber-framed and two stories high, with an asymmetrical facade that was altered later. It is stuccoed, in a Gothic style, and has an old tile roof and casement windows. The first-floor windows are formed as half dormers.
